1. Name & Legal Status

NCRIB Foundation (National Crime Research Intelligence Bureau) is a Non-Profit Organization incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, Government of India.

The Foundation operates strictly in accordance with the Constitution of India and all applicable Central and State laws.

It functions as a research, awareness and social development institution.


2. Vision

To build a legally aware, socially responsible, transparent and ethically empowered society based on constitutional values and national integrity.


3. Mission

  • To promote crime awareness and lawful research initiatives.
  • To strengthen constitutional literacy and legal awareness.
  • To empower youth, women, farmers and communities.
  • To promote social welfare, environmental protection and national development.
  • To operate as a responsible, institution-based organization.


4. Objectives

The Foundation shall work for charitable, educational, research and social development purposes including:


4.1 Human Rights & Legal Awareness

  • To promote awareness of human rights and constitutional safeguards.
  • To conduct public education programs on legal remedies and citizen rights.
  • To provide guidance related to the Right to Information (RTI).
  • To undertake legal research, documentation and public interest reporting.


4.2 Crime Research & Analysis

  • To study, analyze and document crime trends.
  • To publish research-based reports under Crime Research and Analysis initiatives.
  • To conduct social studies through Data Analytics.
  • To develop awareness material based on Local Crime Information studies.


4.3 Cyber Awareness & Digital Safety

  • To conduct cybercrime awareness programs.
  • To provide education on digital safety and data protection.
  • To promote preventive awareness against cyber risks.


4.4 Women & Child Empowerment

  • To conduct Women Empowerment programs.
  • To promote Children and Women Safety awareness initiatives.
  • To organize Anti-Trafficking awareness and preventive campaigns.


4.5 Youth Development & Leadership

  • To organize leadership programs through the Youth Wing.
  • To conduct skill development and career guidance workshops.
  • To encourage youth participation in nation-building activities.


4.6 Social & Rural Development

  • To undertake Rural Development initiatives for community upliftment.
  • To promote social reform initiatives under Social Engineering programs.
  • To conduct awareness programs related to Industrial Development and economic empowerment.


4.7 Education, Research & Innovation

  • To implement Educational Research & Development programs.
  • To promote innovation through Research and Development Wings.
  • To organize seminars, workshops and academic programs.


4.8 Health & Medical Support

  • To conduct health awareness campaigns through the Medical Cell.
  • To organize health camps and public welfare initiatives.


4.9 Information Technology & Organizational Development

  • To strengthen digital systems through the IT Cell.
  • To promote organizational capacity building through Human Resources initiatives.


4.10 Media & Public Engagement

  • To disseminate awareness materials through the Media Cell.
  • To promote constructive dialogue on social issues.


4.11 Agriculture & Farmers Development

  • To conduct awareness and training programs for farmers.
  • To promote sustainable, organic and environmentally friendly farming practices.
  • To educate communities on water conservation and soil preservation.
  • To disseminate information about agricultural schemes and farmer welfare programs.
  • To encourage agricultural entrepreneurship and rural self-reliance.
  • To undertake agricultural research and policy-related studies in the public interest.

The Foundation shall engage in agriculture-related activities strictly for awareness, research and social development purposes.

Each Department operates under the governance structure of the Foundation and within the limits of applicable law.


6. Governance Structure

The Foundation operates through:

  • Founder (Chief Patron)
  • Governing Board
  • Executive Board
  • Advisory Council 
  • Standing Committees

The organization functions as an institutional framework and not as a person-centric body.


7. Financial Management & Accountability

  • All funds shall be deposited in the official bank accounts of the Foundation.
  • Proper books of accounts shall be maintained in accordance with law.
  • Annual audit shall be conducted by a qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • Financial Year: 1 April to 31 March.
  • Financial transparency and accountability are core principles of the Foundation.


8. Official Legal Declaration

NCRIB Foundation and all its Departments operate strictly as research, awareness, advisory and social development divisions.

The Foundation does not exercise any statutory police powers, investigative authority, intelligence authority, enforcement power, or governmental function.

All activities are educational, preventive and research-oriented in nature and conducted in compliance with applicable laws of India.

The Foundation does not substitute, interfere with, or override any statutory authority.


9. Amendment & Dissolution

Any amendment to this Constitution shall be made in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

Upon dissolution, the assets of the Foundation shall not be distributed among members but shall be transferred to another registered charitable institution in accordance with law.
